摘要

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is considered to be a promising identification approach in ubiquitous sensing technology. The operation of RFID systems in advanced applications may pose security and privacy risks to both organizations and individuals. In this paper, we propose an eavesdropping-proof identification algorithm based on the pseudo-random functions (PRFs) for passive RFID tags. Compared with the existing methods, our algorithm not only shows a distinct security improvement but also gives an adaptive approach to a specific application. While the existing methods might be designed for special situations, our proposed procedure shows a great adaptation capability, which could be well deployed in different realistic applications.
