An Efficient Scheme of Extra Refreshment Management for CA System in DTV Broadcasting

This paper introduces a novel scheme for extra key refreshment management for conditional access system in DTV broadcasting. The proposed scheme sends authorization revocation list (ARL) to subscribers, and it deletes an entitlement only for unauthorized subscribers. With this scheme we can reduce a system load remarkably along with supporting extra key refreshment without any performance deterioration.
