Distributed Detection Approach for Wormhole Attack in Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要

Wormhole attacks put severe threats to wireless sensor networks since its immunity to cryptology and independence of MAC protocols, which makes it difficult to detect. Most existing methods have some drawbacks, no matter the tight time synchronization or the dedicated hardware units, are difficult to achieve in reality, which limits their use in practice. In this paper, we present a robust distributed detection approach without special hardware or time synchronization. The simulation shows that with proper parameters this method has very high detection ratio and low false alarm probability.
