Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSN) is an important area of today's research because of its application in services like structural health monitoring, battlefield surveillance, telepresence systems, etc. WMSN is employed to collect voluminous multimedia (video, audio and still images) data, which has severe bandwidth requirements. Since bandwidth is a scarce resource, there is a need to efficiently manage the available network bandwidth to provide improved Quality of Service (QoS). This paper proposes an architecture which applies cognitive-agents (CAs) along with Behavior-Observation-Belief (BOB) model in the area of Remote Health Monitoring (RHM) inorder to minimize the bandwidth requirement while monitoring the patients health status remotely.
