Studies on the Synthesis and Biological Activities of 1-H-1,2,4-Triazole Derivatives Containing Sulfur

A series of new 1-H-1,2,4-triazole derivatives, containing sulfur III were synthesized by addition reaction of 2-(1H-1,2,4triazolyl-1)-4,4-dimethyl-1-penten-3-one with mercapto compounds, which were reduced or oxidized to obtain compounds IV and V respectively. The preliminary biological tests indicated, that some compounds of III, IV and V showed a good herbicidal and fungicidal activities.
