A Formal, Product Structure Driven Design of Optimized End-to-End Demand Supply Chains

摘要

A methodology combining the total networks structure of a company and a new product's structure will be presented that aids in the design of an optimized end-to-end demand supply network. The formalism used is an annotated net. The methodology allows for production and logistics managers to test the effect of different scenarios (e.g. different product structures, different production locations) on total landed cost of a product.
