摘要

We have described the development of calcium carbonate particles that can be used in pitch control. Optimisation of the adsorption capacity and wettability in water revealed an optimum of surface coverage with stearic acid of 15%. Such a product showed, based on surface area, a higher capacity for colloidal materials than an untreated GCC and also than the ultrafine talc grades.
