摘要

The field and application of Mechatronics is broad, encompassing, andrninterdisciplinary. Teaching Mechatronics to mechanical engineering graduaternstudents is difficult because a lot of them lack undergraduate backgrounds in controlrntheory, digital and analog electronics, and in low to mid-level programming.rnTherefore, how to teach Mechatronics continues to be an open area for discussion.rnThis paper focuses on the structure of the graduate Mechatronics course in thernWoodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. An overview of thernrecently revised graduate mechatronics course and the laboratory experiences isrnpresented. Student projects are also included to demonstrate knowledge learned inrnthe course.
