摘要

In graphic science education, efficient spatial design support using computers needs a user interface that incorporates easy manipulation of spatial information, integrated phases of manipulation and estimation, and continuous modifications to forms. To achieve this, the Binding Box Model was proposed, in which space is represented by spatial units and their bindings. A prototype system implementing this concept was developed to identify the advantages and disadvantages of that model.
