In the aim of detecting the influence of "spin accumulation" on the NMR spectra of multilayered nanostructures, Co/Cu nanowires were electrodeposited in commercially available polycarbonate membranes, with an MR ratio of 7% at 300 K. To perform NMR under current, the membranes were mounted on 4-pin connectable sample holders, and a probehead was designed to accommodate them. The probehead geometry was chosen to maximize the enhancement factor η of ferromagnetic materials. A measurement of the RF field module B_1 through ~(79)Br RQN gave a value of B_1 ≈ 2.10~(-3) T, which suggests that the probehead could detect an amount of 10~(14) Co nuclei, by comparison with a previous work.
