AN ANALYSIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT CONDITIONS ACCORDING TO SUBDIVISION PATTERNS OF BLOCKS IN CBD OF DAEGU

摘要

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of environment by subdivision patterns and to analyze the development condition of blocks. Through this study, it could find the problems of urban development, and suggests several ways of urban development. The subdivision patterns in CBD of Daegu City have divided into two classes ; land readjustment block and natural block. The land readjustment block has being developed normally for commercial uses, but the natural block was difficult to develop because of its narrow streets of the block inside. From the result of the case analysis, a cooperate development by unification of lots is considered as the most realistic development method in CBD. Also this method is considered to develop the CBD as normal progress, and will be a way for a sustainable development of the CBD in Daegu.
