The energy used for architecture of China has occupied 25 percent of the total value of whole country. With the rapid development of urban in China, it is estimated that the ratio of urban will come to about 60 percent in 2020, at that time the energy used for architecture would increase to a new level. In order to achieve the sustainable supply of energy and meet the demand of country development, the renewable energy and the techniques of saving energy should be applied in the field of architecture. The renewable energy is geothermal energy and solar energy etc. The techniques of saving energy are defined as techniques being used to make use of waste heat and other techniques of saving energy, such as the technique of strengthening heat preservation of outer wall, heat insulation and heating of windows, the heating with floor radiation and air conditioning techniques and saving energy for living hot water system etc.
