摘要

Mould friction is an important parameter, by which the certain status of the mould in continuous casting can be reflected. It is very significant to understand the interaction between mould and strand shell, and evaluate the lubrication effect by measuring the mould friction. Based on a slab caster which was equipped with hydraulic oscillators, a system of software and hardware for mould friction online measurement was established. And the online monitoring of transient mould friction continuously, stably, and automatically was realized. On the basis of testing results of mould friction, the characteristic of periodical behavior of mould friction, and the influence of oscillation modes and abnormality were analyzed. It laid a solid foundation for deeply studying on the friction behavior between mould and strand, and developing mould friction application method.
