摘要

The numerical model for the nitrogen removal from liquid steel during Vacuum Degassing (VD) process is established on the base of thermodynamics and kinetics analyses during VD process. The nitrogen removal process can be predicted by the application this model into industrial practice. The validation of the numerical model by comparison between the results of theoretical calculation and production practice is proved well.
