摘要

The understanding of milk fat and protein synthesis regulation at the tissue level has greatly benefitted from the advent of quantitative real-time RT-PCR (qPCR),high-throughput omics (transcriptomics, microRNAomics),and associated bioinformatics approaches. The application of these technologies allowed uncovering temporal variation in expression of key genes and microRNA involved in the mammary gland's adaptation to milk synthesis and associated functions in several species including mouse, goat, sheep, cow, and pig.The analysis of the interactions among those genes helped visualize the complex interactive networks responsible for such adaptations.
