On the Distribution of the Intermodulation Distortion and the Error Probability of Non-linearly Distorted OFDM Signals

In this paper, we examine differentrntechniques to approximate the distribution of thernintermodulation distortion and the error probability ofrnnon-linearly distorted OFDM signals. Specifically, wernconsider Gaussian, Laplace, generalised Gaussian andrnPearson approximations. The main reason forrnexamining these approximation techniques is to avoidrnthe computationally inefficient process of finding thernmoments of the intermodulation distortion randomrnvariable required for error probability evaluation.
