30 years conventional data are processed to form precipitation anomaly, land surfacerntemperature anomaly, and air temperature anomaly, and their relations are analyzed, the result shows that they have a good negative correlation. 20 years satellite brightness temperature anomaly and the same period precipitation anomaly are also compared, and similar result is obtained. It tells us that brightness temperature is an important factor for drought monitoring.rnMoreover, the Vegetation Index is another factor for drought monitoring. Drought index arernformed by processing these two factors, and compared with conventional drought index, theirrndistribution on space is very similar.
