On the basis of summarizing the experience ofrndeveloping supersonic aircraft the lifetimernproperties of SST-2 lower wing panels havernbeen analyzed when the titanium alloy weldedrnwing box was used. The fatigue curve of weldedrnjoints of panels from a titanium alloy Vt6ch isrnobtained, it was used for the estimation ofrndurability. The analysis of the critical sizes ofrncracks, crack growth duration from the visuallyrndetected size up to the critical size is carriedrnout. For an estimation of a beginning ofrninspections in operation, the analysis of crackrngrowth duration from a probable technologicalrnimperfection in a welded joint up to the criticalrnsize is carried out.
