HOW DO WE IMPLEMENT A TRAINING PLAN FOR A VIRTUAL LIBRARY?

This paper will outline the steps necessary to plan and implement a virtual library training effort, whether the training is directed at the staff of one library or many libraries. This will be followed by a description of the variety of approaches various states have taken in implementing large virtual library training projects. Many of the techniques mentioned here are born out of the experiences of the SOLINET trainers, as opposed to anything coming out of a formal study in transfer of training.
