摘要

The advancement of biotechnology in recent years has drawn attention to the production of hydrogen byrnusing microorganisms and solar energy. Some kinds of microorganisms are capable of producing hydrogenrnfrom water or organic compounds. This paper describes the systems of hydrogen production byrnphotosynthetic microorganism.rnPhotosynthetic bacteria produce hydrogen by using organic compounds in the light and anaerobicrncondition. The evolved gas was directly supplied to the fuel cell and generated the electricity.rnIn cyanobacteria, carbon dioxide was fixed and converted into several organic compounds. Therncyanobacterial fermentation with an alternating light-dark cycle was combined with the photosyntheticrnbacterial hydrogen production.
