摘要

Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum is a modulation scheme which is characterized by Pseudo Noise (PN) code. PN Sequences have the property of being like random noise with very low correlation to any other sequence in the set. Chaotic Sequence are easy to generate, difficult to intercept and have the added advantage of being in large number compared to other traditional sequences like Gold, Kasami, Bernoulli etc. This paper presents generation of optimum chaotic spreading codes using Genetic Algorithm and compares the performance with other spreading codes in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER), cross correlation and average interference.
