摘要

This paper deals with the modeling and control of a hybrid system meant for the integration of a doubly-fed induction generator (dfig) and a wind turbine. This paper involves the THD analysis also of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) driven by the wind energy conversion systems. Harmonics are smaller in amplitude but the number of cycle is more as compared to the fundamental. The purpose of the paper is to reduce the THD of grid side converter i.e. Total Harmonic Distortion by making use of vector control technique so that the pulses generated by the comparison of reference and measured values of stator current are fed to the IGBT controlled inverter so that we can get controlled ac at the output of inverter and this controlled voltage is fed to the induction generator .This paper involves two back to back converter system connected by a capacitor. As our machine is doubly fed induction generator, it can generate the power and can supply to grid also. By means of the simulation software MATLAB, the harmonics of the Grid side is reduced and the validity of the scrutiny method is inveterate by the simulation results.
