Research and Application of Gestalt on Fashion Design

摘要

This paper describes fashion design concepts and illustrations in the aspects of art, aesthetics and psychology under the circumstances of multi — style and distinctive design features nowadays. The design principle is presented to enhance the overall impression of the costume by applying GESTALT psychological aesthetics on styles, colors, materials and accessories in fashion design. Gestalt psychology principles are suitable not only for the visual perception but also for the integrity over various styles and elements.
