摘要

Based on their properties, the fabrics in common use were classified into seven typical types by cluster analysis. Then, the optimal sewing parameters were analyzed. Finally, fabric sample was determined which type was belong to by discriminant analysis, and the sewing technical parameters can be generated. On the basis of this principle, generation of sewing technical parameters is developed. The study changes the method to subjectively determine sewing technical parameters, which is closely related to the sewing quality. Sewing technical parameters are set by quantitative foundation, which can be adapted to the characteristics of modern apparel manufacture that is more varieties and smaller scale.
