This paper aims to establish a method for content determination of Schisandrin, Schisantherin A, Deoxyschisanrin and γ-schisandrin in the fruit of Schisandra Chinensis by means of high performance liquid chroma-tography (shorted for HPLC). Selection of column, mobile phase and detection wavelength were discussed and the effects of column temperature, flow rate and gradient elu-tion conditions on chromatographic analysis were investigated. And then, summarize simple method to determine the condition of HPLC. In this study, standard curve was drawn and four schisandra lignans in the fruit and extract were determined. The method has good precision, high recovery and reproducibility and it can be used for the quality control of schisandra lignans.
