Research on Influences of Social Changes on Modern Tourism Development for Wa Nationality Area in Yunnan Province

For the historical and geographical reasons, the Wa nationality area in Yunnan Province has only gone through two social phases鈥攑rimitive society and socialist society. Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, many vast changes have happened in the Wa nationality area. Of the changes, there are some satisfactory aspects as well as hidden troubles. Based on thoughts of the social changes of the Wa nationality area in Yunnan Province, this paper discusses the social restructuring influences of minority area on modern tourism development and then puts forward some correlative countermeasures.
