The Antecedents of Business-to business Relational Stability and Its Impacts on Relational Performance

In recent yean, as a result of globalization, rapid technological changes and industry competition, in supply chain, enterprises look forward to working with suppliers to establish long-term partnership. Relational management and relationship performance of inter-firms gradually attracted scholars and corporate managers concern in supply chain. In this paper, the author based on surveys coming from the manufacturing sector and suggested a model in which the author analyzed some factors influencing on relational stability. The antecedent is represented by two major categories of factors. The first category Is capacity-based factors, including organization management personnel, organization culture and interdependence of products. The second category is relationship characteristicbased factors, including power, trust, communication and relationship commitment At last, relational stability will affect the relationship performance in supply chain.
