The significant changes of the people's lifestyles,social attitudes,thinking concepts and values have taken place under the postmodem context.Each sign indicated that the trend is a monopoly and digestion in the production of the post-modem theory of and post-modem culture.The education object that the contemporary design education faces and their services to the consumers will be far different from the past.Therefore,the contemporary design educa tion refuses monopolies,and to create a new stability symbol is imperative.Taking the design methodology teaching for example,based on their teaching practice of design methodology and the characteristics of post - modem context,the paper to explore the teaching that appropriates to the postmodem Context.
