It is necessary to practice General Education with different methods in all levels school with diverse educational philosophy and educational goals. It used case study in qualitative research as a method. The study analyzed the philosophy and strategies in Northwestern Polytechnic University. It aims to explore several strategies to develop General Education in characteristic technical universities based on the relationships between the General Education and Professional Education.
