The current production situations of heat stabilizers for PVC pipes in China were summarized.According to the performances and characteristics of the available stabilizers and the current regulations and standards related to environmental protection, lead containing stabilizers will withdraw from PVC pipe market, calcium/zinc composite heat stabilizers and organic compound-based heat stabilizers were the major development trend, and the calcium/zinc heat stabilizers complex had more realistic spread value in the following years.
