MODELING ASSEMBLYING AND ORGANIZATION IN AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION

摘要

The assembling process of an executive aircraft is pretty complex due to peculiar features, like the high level of customization inside the plane, the high cost of almost all the main components and the influence of stochastic elements. For these reasons it is useful to optimize the productive processes by using modeling & simulation; the paper propose a case study where different techniques was used for reducing production Lead Time.
