STATE AND MAIN RESULTS ON NUCLEAR TRANSMUTATION OF LONG-LIVED RADIOACTIVE WASTE BY USE OF ACCELERATOR-DRIVEN SYSTEM IN RUSSIA

State of conceptual investigations of Accelerator-DrivenrnSystem (ADS) on the base of International Center of Sciencernand Technology (ICST) Grants is analyzed in present paper.rnMain technical tasks and results on ADS for accelerator, target,rnblanket, reprocessing of spent fuel and nuclear data arernanalyzed. Short conclusion about the necessity of therncontinuation for the conceptual investigations on ADS and therncomparison of different version for target and blanket and thernchoice of the attractive variant of ADS is made.
