Azobenzene Structures in Ionomeric Polyurethanes. Synthesis, Characterization, Properties

摘要

The purpose of the present paper is to give an short overview of recent work carried out in the field of new polyurethane ionomers with azoaromatic chromophores, chemically or electrostatically inserted in the ionomeric backbone. Several new azo derivatives and methods have been explored for design of better polymeric materials. The correlation between the chromophore structure, its location, content and some physical properties is the focal point of this review.
