Progress in Virtual Prototyping for Design of Compact Cyclotrons

摘要

As a novel technique in engineering, Virtual Prototyping (VP) was applied to the design of cyclotrons with the purpose of shortening development period and reducing costs for physical prototypes. The progress in VP for compact cyclotron design in HUST is introduced. The idea of multi-domain collaborative design was proposed. This paper describes the framework and its pythonic implementation of the VP integrate platform. Under this platform, the optimization design of cyclotron components can be achieved.
