摘要

A longitudinal flux permanent magnet linear generator (PMLG) is used to convert ocean waves energy into electrical energy. This generator has a simple structure and is economical to use compared with the conventional rotating generators. A PMLG is designed and simulated in this paper for converting the waves energy in coast of Iran in Persian Gulf into electrical energy. Influence of wave amplitude, number of phases, floater diameter and load upon the performance of PMLG are investigated.
