The secondary-granulation silicon-carbon substrate battery negative electrode material (200, 200') includes a carbon substrate (220, 220'), a plurality of pieces of nano-silicon (240, 240') and a modification layer (260, 260'). According to the preparation method for the secondary-granulation silicon-carbon substrate battery negative electrode material (200, 200'), by embedding the nano-silicon (240, 240') in surface pores of the carbon substrate (220, 220') and coating same with the modification layer (260, 260'), the uniformity of a battery during slurrying and the liquid permeability of the negative electrode material (200, 200') can be improved, such that the effects of effectively improving the cycle performance and stability of the battery can be achieved.
