SEMI-SOLID NANOSTRUCTURED LIPID CARRIER (NLC) FORMULATION FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS

This patent application is related to the cosmetic formulation of semi-solid nanostructured lipid carrier (semi-solid NLC) obtained by utilizing nanotechnology, quality by design (QbD) approach and modeling techniques together. The cosmetic formulation thus developed contains at least one compound with anti-cellulite or anti-aging effect as a cosmeceutical/dermocosmetic active ingredient; as lipid at least one solid lipid selected from tripalmitin, tristearin, glyceryl behenate, glyceryl palmiostearate and stearic acid, and at least one of the liquid lipid selected from natural vegetable oils such as olive oil, argan oil, almond oil, avocado oil, coconut oil or fatty acids such as oleic acid, miglyol; and at least one nonionic surfactant such as Poloxamer 188, Poloxomer 407.
