Crochet-work.-A device to indicate or register rows or stitches completed and capable of being set by hand is attached to the work by means of safety pins k which may be bent as shown. One form of the device consists of a pair of plates between which are mounted discs b with numbers 0 - - 9. The discs may be geared together and are provided with means for permitting a step-by-step movement. To the rear plate C2 are attached, by swivels &c. l. m. the pins k and a second indicator N for recording increasing and decreasing rows &c. The use of two pins k enables the device to be attached to the work at two different places. In another form of indicator the discs b are provided with beaded edges n embraced by spring clips o which are connected in pairs by links p.
