Stabilised org photoconductor compsn - contg 1,2,4,6- trialkylphenol to prevent loss of transparency in uv light

Photoconducting compsn. contains an org. photoconductor and 1,2,4,6-trialkylphenol deriv(s). of formulae:- (where R is t-Bu; R2 is 1-4C alkyl; R3 t-Bu or t-pentyl R4 is 1-5C alkyl; R5 and R6 are each H, 1-3 alkyl or together represent cyclopentyl). The amt. of phenol deriv(s). used is 0.3-30 wt.% w.r.t the photoconductor, to prevent loss of transparency due to action of UV light. A compsn. of this type may be used to prepare second originals for the diazo-type copying process.
