Halogen-epoxypropyloxy-cyclo-triphosphazenes - prepd. from hexachloro- or hexafluoro-cyclo-triphosphazenes and 2,3-epoxy-propan-1-ol

Halogen-(2,3-epoxy-propyl-1-oxy)-cyclotriphosphazenes are new of formula P3N3Xm(-O-CH2-CH2-CH2)n (where X is F or Cl and m + n = 6; and if X = F, m and n each is an integer 1-5, whereas if X = Cl, m is integer 3 to 5 and n is integer 1-3). Cl-contg. (I) can be used as flame-proofing agents, heat-resistant plastics, insecticides and herbicides. F-contg. (I) are biologically and physiologically active. Glyceride derivs. may be used as surfactants plastics, textile and dyeing auxiliaries, photo-chemicals, pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
