Maximum access cab for construction vehicle - with laterally tipping cab and support struts hinging past centre of gravity

The cab of the construction vehicle is mounted on the chassis with longitudinal pivots on the one side and with detachable bearings on the other side. To gain access to the engine/transmission the cab is lifted manually and tipped about the pivot axis for at least 60 deg. to take the centre of gravity past the pivot vertical. The cab can then be safely propped up with integral struts to present a safe working environment for the repairs. The hinge for the cab is pref. situated alongside the wheels on one side.
