Container adapted for transportation on car roof - has flat base and moulded corners with longitudinal slots for side wall location

The container consists of a rectangular box with a lid which has a flat base. The base may be fixed permanently onto the bearers of a car roof rack. The corners of the container are made from moulded elements which have longitudinal slots to take the side walls and rigidly hold the structure. The sides and ends are collapsible onto the base, and the lid covers the panels and holds the assembly into place. It allows for the side panels either to form a sliding door arrangement or to be hinged.
