The equipment unloads bulk material from a stationary hopper, having a chute enclosed on all side by vertical walls delivering to a housing below, above whose base is a bladed rotor on a vertical axis, delivering the material to an outlet at the side. - The clear cross-section of the chute (11) is smaller than that of the housing (1), the chute being eccentric to the latter. - The outlet (13) is situated in the base of the housing, below the area in which the rotor works (2). Chute and outlet can be on opposite sides of the housing. The equipment is particularly for handling hot material such as lime, reducing its effect on the rotor bearings.
