The launching equipment is designed for installation on a ship platform etc. for use with inflatable rafts used in rescue work. The rafts are each individually secured in their positions. The securing equipment for each incorporates an electrically-operated release which can be operated by one or the other of two circuits. One of the latter is controlled from a position near the individual launching point, and the other from a central control position with as many controls as there are lauching points. Each actuation of a control launches a vessel, and the circuit controlled from the central position has a time delay, functioning in the necessary sequence, so as to keep a set time interval between the individual launching operations.
