Apparatus for applying sprayed material for securing and lining excavated areas in the construction of underground cavities

The apparatus consists of a base frame which can be shifted in the driving direction and has a track running transversely to the driving direction. One or more supporting elements are movably arranged on the track. One or more spray nozzles are mounted in the supporting elements in such a way that they can be displaced back and forth at right angles to the spray area and in the driving direction. Each spray-nozzle top part is rotatably mounted in the nozzle base about its longitudinal axis and can be extended in the longitudinal direction of the nozzle. All functions of the apparatus can be controlled both manually and automatically in a preprogrammed manner. A closed discharge of sprayed material is obtained by appropriate coordination of the possible longitudinal, transverse and rotational movements of the nozzles.
