Standardising modular stretcher assembly for artist's canvas. Artist's canvas stretchers, dismantlable and optionally adjustable, in which the outer edges are perfectly planar and ungrooved, inserted into a modular system and with a standardising grid. The standardising modular assembly consists of artist's canvas stretchers made up of two modules of equal or unequal length. Each module is made up of two elements of the frame and one or more crosspieces, plus the stove bolts, the flat washers and the half nuts required for their fixing 12a + 12b, section A-A. A special groove 4 and a number of adjusters 5, in conjunction with the fixing system 1, 2, 3 and section A-A, enable the stretchers to be adjusted. The elements are assembled with the aid of a new rebated assembly system which narrows towards the ends and is raised towards the outer edges of the frame by trapezoidal elements b in the case of the frames and rectangular elements in the case of the crosspieces 7.
