PURPOSE:To construct the titled yeast expression plasmid, by isolating cDNA clone capable of coding rat liver NADPH-cytochrome P-450 reductase, cutting out a region coding the above-mentioned reductase and integrating the resultant region in an expression vector. CONSTITUTION:A region coding rat liver NADPH-cytochrome P-450 reductase (hereinafter abbreviated to rat liver Fpt) is cut out of a plasmid containing cDNA coding the rat liver Fpt and integrated into an expression vector, e.g. pAAH5, holding an alcohol dehydrogenase 1 promoter to construct an expression plasmid, e.g. pARF1, which is then introduced into a yeast to afford the aimed transformant capable of producing the rat liver Fpt.
