1. Process of production of a seeding magma for a continuous vacuum pan consisting in diluting a fraction of the massecuite produced by this apparatus so as to reduce its viscosity, and in introducing it in a grinding mill in which the crystals it contains are ground within the mother liquor, characterized in that the saturation coefficient of the mother liquor of the said diluted massecuite fraction entering the grinding mill is maintained within a bracket 0.95-1.00, so that only the very small crystals produced by grinding are remelted by adjusting the dilution liquor temperature and flow rate.
