Use of silicone oils in water-in-oil emulsion explosives, and silicone oil-containing water-in-oil emulsion explosives having reduced surface tackiness

The present invention deals with water-in-oil emulsion explosives which have reduced tackiness. This reduction in tackiness is effected by the addition of certain silicone oils. Even an addition of 0.05 % by weight, relative to the total explosive, shows such an effect. The addition has virtually no effect on the blasting properties of the emulsion explosives, or none at all. It makes it possible, however, to cartridge the explosives on known processing machines such as, for example, Rollex machines.
