ANTI-CORROSION METHOD OF ALUMINUM AND ALUMINUM ALLOY

PURPOSE: To enhance the corrosion resistance of the surface of aluminum or aluminum alloy by first coating the surface of the aluminum or aluminum alloy with a thermally dryable lacquer system, then forming a UV-protective lacquer film thereon. CONSTITUTION: The surface of the aluminum or aluminum alloy is coated with the thermally dryable lacquer system. The UV-protective lacquer film is then laminated on this coating layer. The thermally dryable lacquer acts as an adhesive and is adequately an oleo-resin and alkyde resin. The UV-protective lacquer is adequately lacquer based on an acrylonitrile resin. The more specific examples of the UV-protective stabilizer include a benzophenone deriv., benztriazole deriv., tetraalkylpiperidine, benzalmalonitrile ester or the like.
